Woman Life Freedom Graffiti

This graffiti reads “The blood of the youths of the homeland” and was created during the Woman, Life, Freedom uprising in Iran (2022–2023). The image is part of a broader visual protest in which women photographed themselves in front of political graffiti, often covering their faces while revealing parts of their bodies as a form of anonymity and resistance. These acts became a viral symbol of defiance against state control and were sometimes met with police repression.
